Tribute

Karen Louise Romans, 72, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She retired from Unum after 27 years of service. Karen loved watching old black and white TV shows, loved animals, and enjoyed going to the beach. She loved her family and friends. Karen was always the first in line to help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Romans; parents, Ronald Driscoll and Pearlene McKinney; brothers Mike and Larry; and sister, Jody.

Survivors include her son, Eric Romans (Melissa); daughter, Carey Ely (Craig); grandchildren: Zakkery, A. J., Ryan, Riley, and Lucy; and her fur babies, Nadia, and Bailey.
